In the beginning of december, my cousin Dita had wedding. After years of planning and years of waiting for official documents and spanish bureaucracy. So, I spent one day in Madrid just walking in the streets… But some things surprised me. Spain must be fucked up now. I saw huge lines of people in front of lotteries. It seems to me that people instead of working are just thinking that luck will help them… Well, this is why they are where they are… I also saw unusual lines in front of official buildings waiting for something – these were probably imigrants waiting for some support of work permit. I know it well, in Spain, you just wait and wait…

The last day, we were just in the old port and in the old, closed airport. Specially, the airport was quite impressive. Huge and monumental complex built in the naci era in the thirties was a little depressing as it was absolutely without any life. And this is quite strange for such a huge building. Also, interesting thing is that it is the biggest concrete building in the world, so we saw a wonder

The second day, we went to the streets. At first, we went to Hamburger Bahnhof, an old railways station transformed into modern art museum. In april, me and Tom made a short trip to Berlin. Just for three days. I think it was enough. I have to say, I have mixed feelings from the city. There was something in the air that made me feel sad. Probably the people. I felt they were very free, they were thinking very modern without loads from traditions. They were also very ecological. Not only that my older diesel couldn’t enter the city center, but that you saw more people on bikes in the streets than cars. These people were free. They were not chained by anything. But I still felt sad. Actually, Tom had the same feelings. And at the end we have realized that nobody was smiling and nobody was unwillingly laughing anywhere.

Bikes were literally everywhere. It’s a pleasant surprise for me. I wish there is such a support of riding on the bikes. The streams of people on the bikes to work were just incredible.
