To celebrate New Year’s eve, I went to every year’s classic, Dája’s weekend house at the border of forest near Olšovec near Hranice. This year, Shama brought a plastic model of machine gun, so we went outside to play a game. Unfortunately, we broke his gun, but this hasn’t stop him to shoot some of us… [-;

Opět jsme se po snad půl roce sešli u Dáji na chatě blízko Olšovce vypít nějaké to pivko, vlastně to bylo štěně, opéct nějaké maso a kabanos a především navštívit místní hospodu! A musím říct, že se akce opět mimořádně povedla. Ostatně tak, jak to vždy u Dáji bývá.

After I think a half year, we met again at Dája’s weekend house near Olšovec to drink some beers, or better said to drink a cag, to grill some meat and sausages, and what’s the most important – to visit local pub! And I have to say that it was extremely successful. As usually.

Z Olomouce jsem vyrazil v sobotu odpoledne po obědě. Cestou na nádraží jsem zavolal Walovi, ať mě vyzvedne v Hranicích na nádraží, což se také povedlo, takže jsme za chvíli uháněli směrem k Milenovu pro Peťu. V Milenově jsme ho nabrali a po dobré radě jsme se vydali místním tankodromem okolo rozestavěné dálnice k Olšovci.

V Olšovci nás ale stihlo nemilé překvapení. Nikde nikdo. Tak jsme nechali auto u chajdy ať si tam dělá co chce a vydali se do místní putyky. V Olšovci jsme ale zjistili, že místní putyka byla zavřená, taktéž kavárna Tereza a jelikož místní důchodce neznal žádný jiný podnik, tak jsme se vydali zpět k chatě. Cestou jsme ještě chtěli orvat místní vrbu, ale usoudili jsme, že uprostřed obce se to za bílého dne nedělá a že to necháme až se setmí. Když jsme dorazili k chajdě, tak už na nás čekal Dája s Shamem a začala se připravovat bečka.

We were quite badly surprised at the house in Olšovec. Nobody here. So we decided to head down to the village to find some pub. On the place we found that the pub was closed, and local retired guy didn’t know about any other, so we went back. When we got to the house, Dája and Shama were already there, and so we could start preparing the beer!

Bečka moc dlouho nevydržela. Asi jenom 3 hodiny a pak bylo sucho v krcích. A tak jsme se vydali do vesnice do hospody. Cestou jsme za značného veselí nechali lahváč na značce. V hospodě bylo veselo, vypili sme tam všechnu zelenou a málem se porvali, protože nám bába nechtěla sebou prodat žádný alkohol. A to vše i přes to, že sme jí rvali spoustu peněz jako dýška. A ona si prostě nechtěla vidělat a to se dnes moc často nevidí. Nicméně to pěkně naštve někoho takového potkat. A ještě na nás byla drzá a obsluhovala nás až po místních…

Together in the pub

We finished our beer in about 3 hours, so we had to visit local pub in Olšovec to keep the level of alcohol in our blood. On the way we left the last remaining beer bottle on the top of traffic sign of the village Olšovec. This act was appreciated as a good sign that we are in a good mood! In the pub we drunk all zelená, and we almost fighted as the lady didn’t want to sell us any alcohol for home. Even though that some were offering here really huge tips. And she didn’t want to make money. Nowadays, it’s really hard to find such a person! But it sucks when you find it. Yes, and she was also serving local people before us…
