Kampa
Some time ago, actually it’s been 3 weeks now, there was a Jazz festival in Prague. My brother with some friends came over, and it was week full of going out, and just simply having good time.

At the same time, there was also French food market with two concerts of French musicians on Kampa (better is czech wikipedia, but only in Czech – link). The French food market turned out to be quite shit. Ok, I had escargots for the first time, and they were great. I like French food, but overall impression was very bad. Too crowded, you didn’t know what to taste, the whole organisation sucked. Maybe some native French would help, but we didn’t have any.

The first band on Kampa was quite boring, so we left to the jazz festival. But there we got really hungry, so we went to eat, we missed some jazz then we got back to the jazz, and then we (=read me) decided back to Kampa to see the second band and there we came just to see the last two songs, so we went back to jazz, where we saw the very last song, so the evening turned out not to be very productive and with lot of music, but rather hunting food, and running there and back. At the end we ended up in one pub, so it was not that bad for me. But I think that I am not Andy’s friend anymore, since we must have walked couple of kilometres that day. [-;

On the second day of the jazz festival, I went to the concert again. My brother and friends were already there since the evening, so I went just for the last concert. There was playing a funky music – Victor Wooten, guy who came with his band from the other side of the Atlantic ocean, from the New York City. So, because of this was not jazz, but funky, it was much better then what I have heard at the festival before (yes, I am not a big jazz fan, so I hope you will understand. I can listen to some, but not the hardcore things like my brother listens to). Anyway, my brother is also great musician – great saxophone player (some music here and here ), and what was a big surprise to me, after the concert Victor ran behind the stage to see Pepa, and I had to make him a picture. Maruška was our beautiful girl… But should touch her hair a little less frequently, and sometimes make a little different pose… It’s a little boring… And powermac shouldn’t complain about this anymore…

Who kept in shape even in night tram. Homeless were jealous – no one has such hair…

Some of us slept in the street. Benches in Prague are soft and nice…
On wednesday we made a small party at home. I grilled some meat (without that fancy super-modern electronically driven fan for keeping fire). Maruška made us also a delicious cheese cake (she is a great cook!). And at the end came Damien with his friend, and later we crossed the bridge to a small bar on the other side of the river where was no tap beer anymore, so we had to drink bottled ones, but this time the table football was working well, and even a little drunk, we played for a while and then… What then, I don’t remember, so maybe went to bed……..
